Darwinism in full swing. Too funny.

Here's another nutty baptism story: when my unit arrived at a tiny little base in Iraq in 2004, the logistical network was not yet in full swing and we had to really on bulk shipments of drinking water, as opposed to the seemingly endless supply of bottled water that appeared later. We had only on tank to hold it in, about 1500 gallons. The base chaplain, a fire and brim stone type from WV, decided to do God's work and conduct baptisms. Without a momemnt's thought, he opened the tank and dunked a half dozen nasty ass soldiers in it, contaminating every drop of water we had. The worst thing about it is that he stood by his actions. When most would have the decency to say "oh, that was dumb of me", he claimed it was worth depriving 500 guys guys of safe drinking water (in the desert) to do God's work.

Gotta love the logic of religio-nut cases. Screw everyone else... and be damned with common sense so long as the religion of choice is served nothing and no one else matters. He is lucky he was not with my unit. He might have gotten shot for doing that crap. We had a bunch of gnarly jar heads that didn't take much crap from anyone, especially stupid people, including buybull thumping retards.

Well, I guess drowning while being bapitised guarantee's a place in heaven, at least for the drowning victim. Now of course the preacher has broken the "Thou shall not kill" rule. Express elevator to sub-basement.
